I thought it might be of interest to my readers to give you statistics for the previous month each month.
The V1 - HRM border is very jagged, so all locations are "approximate". V1 begins around Hillsvale/ South Rawdon area and comes all the way up to Lockhartville. In the month of February this sub-district had 35 new listings come on the board, and 14 properties were recorded as sold.
The V2 sub-district begins around Avonport, and spans all the way out to the Millville - Franey Corner area. In the month of February this sub-district has 77 new listing come on the board, and 35 properties were recorded as sold.
Here's to hoping March will be an even busier month!

That's unfortunate to hear, hopefully March will be a busier month, but this activity might be indicative of the market in general. For example, realty in Calgary is expected to grow by 6.3% in price and 17.7% in sales. While the number may seem a little modest, it just hows that markets will likely improve, but not at a fast rate.
