Composition of a Great Agent post#1

This is a topic that you will continually see come up, as it is one that I plan to keep adding to.

With so many agents in the business, I think it's important for buyers and sellers to know when to hold on to their agent, and when it might be time to cut the ties and start shopping for another agent.

I would like to begin by discussing Accessibility.

As a client, you should feel like your agent is always available.  Though it's unreasonable to assume your agent will never miss one of your phonecalls, it shouldn't take them days to return your phonecalls or emails.  A good agent will always find the time to get back to you.

Also, most agents have so many different methods of communication, I think it's important to stick with what you, the client, knows best.  If you're most comfortable communicating through email, then do that.  Always keep in mind, your agent should be working for you, and making sure your home buying or selling experience is a pleasant one.

What do you think?  Feel free to leave a comment below or email me direct, leahconrad@royallepage.ca

As always, thanks for reading!
